Civil Defence

On Wednesday Karen Buchanan came to Centennial School to teach us about civil defence. Some kids from Ruma Kea were lucky enough to boil hot water with a generator or gas bottle and some really lucky kids even got to make a cup of tea for Karen and Mrs Albrey. Some got to have a cup of tea for themselves. We really enjoyed Karen coming to teach us about civil defence and we liked getting to look at all of the stuff. By Carly and Michaela
