A Terrible Time at the Lakes

I was scared and trembling as the hard strong wave made its way into my mouth. I tried not to think of the disgusting taste. Other children were spread around me.

“HELP!” I yelped, clinging onto my boogyboard. My swim shoe fell off.

“Oh no!” I shouted as it floated up.

“Hooray!” I choked as another wave made its way into my mouth. Shallower and shallower it got. Finally I reached land in my heavy purple wetsuit. Still my heart was pumping away as Dad handed me a towel. After I dried off and changed out of my wetsuit Dad handed me a nice hot milo and blanket.

When I woke up I looked out to the peaceful lake.
