On a fine evening Waimate Centennial School performed a concert. We wandered up stairs into the back room in the theatre to get organized. After that we all got into our whanau groups, and we walked onto the stage and sat in our places. There were four wallabies talking and then Ruma Weka performed with the rakau sticks. Ruma Kiwi did their performance about Michael Studholme. They danced. Then we sang some songs and all the other whanau groups performed their items. We sang ‘Waimate has it all’ and after the song Mr. Jury read a speech out. We walked off the stage and went home.
