Our school wanted a new sandpit because no one played in our old one. First we needed to raise money so we could pay for the sandpit. We did this by having sausage sizzles every Friday. Each time, two people from a class were picked to help out and we also had parents helping. Once we had enough money Mrs. Soper’s husband and other parents made the new sandpit. It is shaped like an oval. Now we are waiting for the cover to be put up.
